About Us

We are a currently working with a fast-growing regulatory tech startup headquartered in Singapore, driven by the mission to redefine financial services across Southeast Asia

As the firm scale they're looking for an experienced and visionary Head of HR to help us build a strong organisational foundation, nurture a high-performance culture, and lead our people strategy.

Role Overview

The Head of HR will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the people and culture strategy to support our rapid growth. This includes spearheading Organisational Development (OD) initiatives, building scalable HR systems, and ensuring alignment with business goals across our Southeast Asia footprint. This role will be pivotal in shaping our culture, talent strategy, and operational excellence across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organisational Development

. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives, particularly in high-growth and fast-paced environments.

. Drive organisational development initiatives including workforce planning, change management, and capability building.

. Lead efforts in shaping culture, leadership development, and team effectiveness across multicultural environments.

Regional HR Management

. Oversee HR operations across Southeast Asia, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and HR best practices in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

. Build regionally nuanced yet unified HR policies, compensation frameworks, and performance systems.

Talent Acquisition & Retention

. Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across tech, product, and business functions.

. Lead talent retention and employee engagement strategies, especially for distributed and hybrid teams.

Employee Experience & Culture

. Champion employee experience, DEI, and engagement strategies that reflect the company's values.

. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people matters, including conflict resolution, team dynamics, and organisational health.

HR Infrastructure & Compliance

. Build and scale HR systems, tools, and processes that support growth and efficiency.

. Ensure HR compliance, risk mitigation, and data protection across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.

. Proven experience in organisational development, change management, and scaling teams in high-growth environments.

. Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR practices in Southeast Asia

. Experience in the tech or fintech sectors strongly preferred.

. Demonstrated ability to partner with C-level executives and influence at all levels.

. Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

. Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments.

. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field HR certifications (e.g. SHRM, CIPD) a plus.
