Work closely with stakeholders to originate, execute and structure investment opportunities inAPAC. Lead a team of junior corporate finance analyst executives across the transactionspectrum:
Origination: market screening, evaluation of opportunities, financial modelling and preparation of internal memos.
- Lead a team focused on strategy for the Grid Scale Renewables business
- Coordinate with internal departments (commercial strategy, development regions, interconnection, etc..) and external parties in the development and execution of utility-scale energy strategy
- Proactively expand networks to enhance deal flow directly from sellers or via
- third party consultants.
- Analyse market dynamic and interconnection queues to optimize strategy.
- Support energy offtake, financing, and project M&A discussions, including due diligence activities, and internal financial modelling in establishing business case for each greenfield project.
Execution: due diligence, coordination of external advisors, transaction documentation and presentations to Senior Management / Board of Directors.
- Select, manage, and direct third party consultants and review their reports
- Evaluate viability of early stage and acquisition projects
- Regularly report industry trends and potential opportunities to Senior Management.
- Represent company in industry advocacy groups
- Remain abreast of renewable energy opportunities in the region and beyond.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Monitor and mentor junior corporate finance team
