Deputy Head of Finance-AVP (Regulatory Reporting Impt)

We are currently representing an international bank with a long-standing presence in Singapore that is looking to appoint a Deputy Head of Finance.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is well-suited for a hands-on finance professional. The bank maintains a streamlined set-up locally, which means the Deputy will play a direct role in a wide scope of responsibilities - from managing financial and regulatory reporting, to supporting audits, controls, and internal governance.

A core focus of the role will be regulatory reporting, particularly ensuring full compliance with MAS requirements and internal reporting standards. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong technical knowledge in this area, combined with a proactive approach and the confidence to work independently while still contributing effectively to a small, collaborative team.

Requirements

This opportunity would be well-matched to candidates coming from Financial Institutions, where versatility, attention to detail, and ownership are essential. Prior experience in MAS reporting is a must, and a strong command of financial controls and banking regulatory frameworks will be key.
