Head of Japan Desk at consulting firm

Job Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the post-integration of the business operations, compliance, alignment and control of The Company and investment funds.

• Developing the businesses and services for Japanese companies who expand into Southeast Asia market, including the listing in Singapore Stock Exchange.

• Japanese companies (those who are based in Singapore and/or other Asian countries) account development and management.

• Develop the business expansion support services for Singapore companies to expand into the Japan market.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree holder and above with at least 5 years of senior level work experience
• Professional fluency in English and Japanese (required for internal and external communication)
• Strong understanding of post-merger integration, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks
• Experience in managing investment funds and overseeing business operations
• Proven ability to develop and execute market entry strategies, particularly for Japanese and Southeast Asian markets
• In-depth knowledge of cross-border business expansion, including regulatory and listing requirements (e.g., Singapore Stock Exchange)
• Strong account management and client relationship skills, especially with Japanese corporate clients
