Head of Finance

Role: Regional Head of Finance (APAC) Global MNC in Medical Device Sector

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing global multinational in the medical device sector. As the organisation continues to scale and strengthen its Asia-Pacific footprint, they are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regional Head of Finance (APAC) to join the global finance leadership team.

This is a highly visible role for a strategic yet hands-on finance leader who will drive financial excellence, support regional growth, and partner closely with senior business leaders across diverse APAC markets.

Responsibilities

Reporting into global finance leadership, you will lead the APAC finance function end-to-end and act as a trusted business partner to regional leadership. Key responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of regional financial and management reporting, controllership, and governance
• Driving robust performance management frameworks and financial discipline across the region
• Partnering closely with Regional and Country Leaders to deliver actionable insights that support commercial decision-making and growth
• Playing a key role in regional transformation initiatives, including market entry, business expansion, process optimisation, and system enhancements
• Contributing to strategic planning, business development, and investment decisions as a core member of the regional leadership team
• Ensuring scalable finance processes and controls across manufacturing and commercial operations

Requirements

• Degree-qualified with CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience, including senior regional finance leadership roles within MNCs or large organisations
• Prior experience in the medical device or med-tech sector is advantageous
• Strong experience supporting both manufacturing and commercial operations is essential
• Broad, end-to-end finance expertise with a strong strategic and commercial mindset
• Executive presence with proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across regions and global HQ
• Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen
• Technologically savvy, with hands-on exposure to ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives

You are a proactive, hands-on finance leader with a strong sense of ownership and a can-do mindset. You thrive in fast-growing, complex environments and bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to operate effectively across cultures and markets throughout Asia-Pacific.
