Overview
We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead our global financial strategy and strengthen the financial foundation of our group's overseas business center (based in Singapore). This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in international finance, accounting, and corporate governance, particularly within large, complex organizations with multinational operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial management of the Overseas Business Center, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.
- Lead, develop, and enhance the performance of the Overseas Business Center Finance Team.
- Oversee cross-border financing and tax planning, ensuring compliance with Singapore and relevant overseas regulations.
- Provide strategic financial advice aligned with the business objectives and long-term plans of the Overseas Business Center.
- Identify financial risks and propose practical solutions and improvement measures to mitigate them.
- Serve as the key liaison between the Overseas Business Center and the Headquarters, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
- Support business growth through informed financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by HQ within the scope of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in finance-related work, with strong knowledge of Singapore and China accounting standards, financing, and tax management. Prior experience in financial management within the engineering or manufacturing industries is preferred. Candidates with extensive finance leadership experience, particularly in large organizations will be at an advantage.
- Well-versed in financing processes and international tax policies, with strong financial analysis skills. Possesses knowledge of internal control and compliance frameworks in large organizations, with the ability to design and implement HQ-level financial management systems tailored to overseas operations.
- Holder of Senior Accountant professional title (or equivalent, such as CPA/CA).
- Demonstrated strength in strategic judgment, decision-making, and execution.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders in both English and Mandarin. (This role requires regular communication with HQ and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.)
