Head of Data Center & Infrastructure Strategy (Pemanent, Banking)

• Lead the infrastructure architecture function while overseeing enterprise incident management and resolution processes to ensure operational stability and resilience.
• Oversee end-to-end server platform services encompassing compute, virtualization, databases, storage, backup, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Lead the design, deployment, and continuous enhancement of secure, scalable, and highly automated server platform capabilities.
• Drive and execute server platform infrastructure initiatives while providing executive reporting on system health, project progress, risk, and cost performance.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts while maintaining the enterprise infrastructure technology roadmap to support global system rationalization and alignment with enterprise architecture goals.

Qualifications:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1015 years in IT infrastructure leadership roles, with recent 5+ years experience in banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience leading regional or global IT transformation programs, including cloud migration and modernization, vendor governance and multi-cloud strategy, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Holds at least one professional certification in enterprise architecture or infrastructure technologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, MCSE, VMware VCF, Nutanix NCP), together with recognized certifications in information security or risk (CISSP or CISM) and project management (PMP or PRINCE).
• Broad technical expertise across hybrid cloud architectures, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of MAS and key APAC regulatory frameworks, including BN RMiT, RBI, BOT, and APRA requirements.
• Deep understanding of enterprise compute, virtualization, storage, and backup platforms, with a strong focus on high-availability design, resilience, and cybersecurity best practices.
