Our team of Customer and Partner Engineers is on the front lines of helping education institutions transform learning and corporations to redefine working environments.

We are critical in positioning our solutions to meet customers business objectives, navigating technical considerations, and activating the technical sales/services capabilities of our Channel and OEMs. We help customers and resellers to understand the power of Google's portfolio, identify changes necessary in their current world, and problem-solving key technical issues.

Job responsibilities

  • Guide a team of solutions consultants across Association of Southeast Asian Nations and fosters positive. Collaborative team culture, nurtures individuals career growth.
  • Organize, train and equip the Customer Engineers (CE) team by assessing go-to-market readiness, identify gaps in CE preparedness, and build plans to ensure the CE team is properly trained and equipped to perform in support of annualized business goals.
  • Work with the local team in Malaysia to identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to closing sales transactions.
  • Lead technical aspects of solution evaluations including activities such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept management, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
  • Collect, synthesize and analyze customer feedback in order to clearly communicate customer needs to the product teams and help inform future product direction.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology delivery, consulting, advisory or enterprise customer experience.
  • Experience working in a high paced, dynamic and results driven organization that challenges the status quo, and innovates through change.
  • Experience in people management, including developing and leading customer experience teams.
  • Experience in Solution Architecture across multiple cloud based solutions (SaaS, Security, Identity, MDM space).

Preferred qualifications

  • Google certified in Chrome, Workspace, Digital Leadership or Data Practitioner alternatively a related or engaged equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Experience with managed endpoint devices (PC or mobile), and the growing ecosystem of browser-based applications and collaboration tools, in a workplace/school digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in selling or deploying Google's Collaboration tools (e.g., Workspace, Classroom, Chromebook) in either Education or Enterprise setting, or equivalent experience using similar products.
  • Knowledge of regional end user computing technology and Education Technology market needs, engaged insights and latest industry news and trends.
