VP Corporate Development – Singapore
We are proud to be partnering with our client, a fast-growing technology company backed by a mix of institutional and strategic shareholders, as it enters its next phase of growth across multiple markets. With an ambitious expansion agenda, the organisation is looking to appoint a VP of Corporate Development to drive strategic growth and finance management across the group.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will help manage and support the company's capital strategy including fundraising, treasury and liquidity management, M&A, financial modelling and strategic corporate finance. This is a high-visibility role and you will play a critical role in ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure and discipline required to scale sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
In this strategic role, you will lead the full spectrum of corporate development and capital management activities, including leading end-to-end M&A transactions, from origination and due diligence through structuring, negotiation and integration. You will also be identifying and evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities across existing and new markets. A large part will also include supporting strategic partnerships and joint ventures with public and private organisations, developing and executing funding strategies across equity and debt instruments, while managing the group's overall capital structure. Additionally, you will provide oversight of the cost of capital, equity mix, cash flow planning, liquidity and working capital considerations.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Corporate Development / Treasury / Corporate Finance professional with at least 12 years of relevant experience, ideally combining in-house and advisory experience across corporate development, treasury, investment banking or corporate finance.
You will bring a demonstrable track record in M&A execution, from origination through integration, alongside deep expertise in capital raising across equity and debt, treasury management and banking relationships. Global exposure across multiple markets and geographies will be highly advantageous. You should be equally comfortable operating in public and private company environments and possess the gravitas to engage confidently with Boards, shareholders, investors and senior leadership. This is an entrepreneurial, high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the opportunity to shape the financial and corporate development agenda.
