Job Description

TRCL Group is an integrated arts, community, and enterprise platform designed to deliver meaningful social impact while ensuring long-term sustainability. Anchored by The RICE Company Limited (TRCL), a registered charity focused on children, youth, and seniors, the Group is supported by two complementary subsidiaries: Global Cultural Alliance (GCA),which drives cultural strategy and international engagement, and Millet Group, which serves as the enterprise and industry development arm. Together, this integrated structure enables TRCL Group to combine programme delivery, cultural positioning, and enterprise capabilities within a single operating model.

The Corporate Communications division is responsible for shaping and managing the Group's brand, narrative, and public positioning, across TRCL, Global Cultural Alliance, and Millet Group. It ensures that each entity is clearly differentiated yet cohesively aligned, reinforcing the Group's overall identity and strategic direction.

We are currently looking for the right candidate to drive the division.

Head of Communications

Key functions include:

Brand Architecture & Positioning, Brand Management

  • Develops and manages the Group's brand architecture, ensuring clarity in how TRCL, Global Cultural Alliance, and Millet Group are positioned individually and collectively.
  • Safeguard the TRCL Group's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications, campaigns, and events.
  • Lead brand refresh initiatives, if necessary, to ensure alignment with evolving organizational goals and audience expectations.
  • Conduct audience research to inform brand strategy and ensure alignment with public perception.

Strategic Communications

  • Crafts key messages, speeches, press releases, and corporate materials to support leadership, partnerships, nd stakeholder engagement across the Group.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media and PR strategy that aligns with the TRCL Group's vision and mission.
  • Lead and manage proactive and reactive media engagement, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the organization's values.
  • Craft and oversee the execution of PR campaigns, including partnerships, media coverage, and press events.
  • Ensure timely preparation and distribution of press releases to media outlets.
  • Oversee the production of the Annual Report, ensuring it reflects the TRCL Group's achievements and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement external communications policies, ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.

Marketing and Campaigns

  • Design and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns to support the TRCL Group's projects, events, and strategic goals.
  • Develop campaign strategies tailored to reach diverse audiences through digital, print, and social media channels.
  • Manage the production, dissemination, and monitoring of all marketing and communications materials, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.
  • Oversee content creation for the TRCL Group's digital platforms, including social media, website, and email newsletters, ensuring they resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.

Campaigns and Advocacy

  • Lead advocacy and awareness campaigns for the TRCL Group's programs, creating a strong public presence for key initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that influence stakeholders and public opinion.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to amplify campaign reach and effectiveness.

Digital and Technological Integration

  • Develop and implement digital-first strategies for marketing and communication activities, incorporating emerging trends and platforms.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful use of social media, SEO, and content marketing strategies to expand reach and engagement.
  • Oversee the integration of automation tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing) for campaign management and audience segmentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record in leading marketing, campaigns, or communications at a senior level.
  • Expertise in PR, brand management, and campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in managing relationships with media, agencies, and stakeholders.
