Job Description

Business Development & Growth

  • Lead sector targeting, pipeline development, and opportunity conversion to achieve growth objectives.
  • Identify and secure strategic opportunities using market insights and sector expertise.
  • Develop and execute sector strategies in collaboration with operations.
  • Drive organic growth by expanding service offerings and increasing share of wallet within key accounts.
  • Manage the full business development lifecycle, including proposals, RFP submissions, contract negotiations, and solution implementation.

Strategic Planning & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and maintain business plans, reviewing performance and refining strategies regularly.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Lead customer engagement, positioning innovative and industry-leading solutions.
  • Facilitate account planning with regional and country teams to align on growth strategies.
  • Drive contract renewals and commercial negotiations aligned with market dynamics.
  • Act as a trusted partner to key accounts, ensuring long-term value and retention.

Account Growth & Collaboration

  • Deliver net growth through retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Lead regular customer reviews, including Monthly Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales processes, ensuring alignment and timely execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (MBA is advantageous)
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain management
  • At least5 years in a senior commercial leadership role (e.g., Head of BD, Commercial Director, Sales Director) within the logistics / supply chain industry
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen
