Job Summary
The Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships leads the global partnership, alliance, and key account strategy to expand market access, strengthen brand positioning, and drive sustainable revenue growth through high-impact commercial partnerships and strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global partnership, alliance, and key account strategy to drive business growth and market expansion
- Identify and develop high-impact commercial partnerships that enhance brand positioning and generate sustainable revenue
- Manage strategic customer relationships to maximize long-term commercial performance and customer value
- Lead structured collaboration across regions to align partnership efforts and optimize joint business outcomes
- Apply a global commercial mindset to navigate international markets and business environments effectively
- Leverage over 10 years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, or partner management to influence business decisions and strategies
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and continuously refine the global partnership and alliance strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives
- Identify priority markets, segments and strategic partners that strengthen market positioning and competitive advantage
- Translate corporate growth ambitions into a structured partnership roadmap
- Identify, evaluate and pursue new strategic partnership opportunities globally
- Own and drive global key account management for the company's most strategic customers, ensuring coordinated account strategies, (executive) relationship management and sustainable revenue growth
- Lead commercial negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic objectives
- Structure win-win commercial models that drive joint revenue generation
- Build and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships with clear performance metrics
- Establish KPIs for partner-generated revenue, pipeline contribution and brand visibility
- Monitor and report partnership performance to the Board of Directors
- Drive continuous optimization of partner collaboration models
- Generate qualified leads and measurable revenue contribution through partner channels
- Support regional commercial teams in converting joint opportunities
- Ensure alignment between partnership strategy and regional commercial execution
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO on growth, positioning and external alliances
- Collaborate closely with Global Commercial Heads to align partnership priorities and share best practices
- Facilitate internal coordination across Commercial, Operations and Marketing to maximize partnership value
- Represent the company in high-level external meetings, industry forums and strategic negotiations
- Ensure contractual compliance and risk management in partnership agreements
