Head, Mobility Service and Operations

About the role:

We are looking a highly driven and results-oriented Head, Mobility Service and Operations with a strong background in Fleet Operations.

This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, fleet optimisation, and modernisation initiatives to support business growth. The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of fleet operations, provide leadership to cross-functional teams, and champion innovation by adopting new technologies and best practices within the mobility and transport ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day fleet operations to ensure optimal utilisation and reliability
• Proposed and execute fleet growth strategy that is aligned with business growth and service demands
• Evaluate and keep up with the latest vehicle technologies
• Analyse fleet data to front improvement initiatives and drive operations efficiency and sustainability
• Lead fleet modernization initiatives
• Plan fleet size, vehicle model and as well as management of fleet lifecycle
• Implement controls to minimize downtime and any disruptions
• Ensure compliance with fleet safety standards
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance plans are in place to keep vehicles in optimal condition
• Ensure full compliance with local transport regulations, licensing and inspections standards
• Oversee and manage the department budget and to identify cost-savings opportunities
• Handle relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance vendors, insurers, regulators and government agencies

• Oversee fleet utilization rate and brainstorm new initiatives to maximise fleet utilization
• Ensure high service standard provided by customer service staff
• Lead contract negotiations and monitor vendor performance
• Any other duties as assigned by company

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or related field
• More than 10 years of experience in fleet operations / mobility / transport, with leadership exposure
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, maintenance, and utilisation optimisation
• Familiar with fleet modernisation, new vehicle technologies, and industry trends
• Good understanding of local transport regulations and safety standards
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive operational performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
