In addition to offering lessons, the school also operates as a store featuring a range of Chinese instruments, including the Guzheng, Erhu, Dizi, Guqin, Pipa, and Ruan. Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Singapore for a Guzheng Teacher. The Guzheng Teacher will be responsible for conducting individual and group lessons, planning lesson materials, and adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and skill levels. Additional responsibilities include preparing students for performances and examinations, fostering an appreciation for Chinese music, and providing guidance on instrument care and practice techniques.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Guzheng performance and knowledge of traditional Chinese music
• Skills in Lesson Planning and Education to design and deliver effective learning experiences
• Proven expertise in Teaching and Training with a focus on engaging and motivating students
• Strong Communication abilities to effectively convey musical concepts to students of varying skill levels
• Prior experience teaching music or working in an educational setting is preferred
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students
• Flexibility to work with students of all ages and skill levels
