Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for half year and full year SGX results announcements
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial disclosures in the Annual Report, including coordinating with overseas subsidiaries
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management report to the board
  • Responsible for group consolidation and financial/management reporting functions and to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review consolidated journal entries
  • Review inter-company transactions and profit eliminations
  • Perform financial analysis of consolidated results to support financial/management reporting, including quarterly results release and Annual Report
  • Review and analysis monthly financial information of subsidiaries, including balance sheets items
  • Engage and liaise with external auditors on audit and accounting issues
  • Support communication throughout the Group on changes in reporting requirements
  • Ensure that the impact of changes on group accounting policies and procedures are in line with the changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards
  • Provide guidance and support to overseas team to ensure timely submission of monthly accounts
  • Ensure that all entities including overseas subsidiaries comply with the Group accounting policies
  • Support the team for migration and implementation of new system-related projects
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree in accountancy and/or other professional qualification equivalent
  • 10-15 years of relevant working experience and preferably with audit experience. Previous experience in listed company and/or big 4 firm is advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge in SFRS (I), SGX Listing Manual and Companies Act is preferred
  • Excellent team player with strong communication, people management and organisation skills
  • Self-driven and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to knowledge sharing and improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle consolidation software is preferred
