We are looking for an experienced finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in group reporting. In this pivotal role, you will have visibility over 10 countries and lead a team of 2-3 in a dynamic, high-performing finance team.
Job Description:
- Overseeing half-year and full-year SGX results announcements
- Preparing and reviewing financial disclosures for the Annual Report, working closely with overseas subsidiaries
- Producing monthly and quarterly management reports for the Board
- Leading the group consolidation and financial/management reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Reviewing consolidated journal entries, intercompany transactions, and profit eliminations
- Performing financial and variance analysis to support quarterly results releases and annual reporting
- Monitoring monthly financials of subsidiaries, including key balance sheet items
- Liaising with external auditors and addressing audit and accounting matters
- Guiding overseas finance teams and ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies
- Supporting Group-wide communication on changes in reporting requirements
- Ensuring Group accounting policies align with evolving business needs and financial reporting standards
- Contributing to system migration and implementation projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy and/or relevant professional qualification
- 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with audit background
- Prior experience in an SGX-listed company and/or Big 4 is advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge in SFRS(I), the SGX Listing Manual, and the Companies Act
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines with a strong sense of ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle consolidation systems is preferred
- A positive, self-driven individual who enjoys learning and contributing to process improvements
