A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the
Group Accountant position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation accounting activities in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Support the execution and standardization of consolidation processes across global subsidiaries and affiliated entities.
- Provide accounting consultation and support for internal stakeholders on new initiatives, including financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance, digitalize, and automate consolidation workflows where applicable.
- Guide regional and country-level teams on the implementation and alignment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
- 5 years of experience in preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Solid knowledge of IFRS with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
