- Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation.
- Work with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff to clarify or verify medical information for coding purposes.
- Enter coded data into hospital systems for reporting, billing, and claims submission.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and hospital policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient health records.
- Keep updated with changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.
