Responsibilities:
Regional/Local Partner Expansion and Management
- Based on customer needs and local market development, responsible for expanding key partnerships, negotiating, and maintaining long-term relationships to ensure a rich, stable, and low-cost local payment capability
- Partners include, but are not limited to local payment institutions, banks, acquirers, wallets, card schemes, and other payment ecosystems
- Collaborate with various teams to promote the smooth internal launch of partnership projects and make services available to customers
- Establish a structured partner management mechanism to ensure mutually beneficial and sustainable cooperation
Localization of Key Markets
- Propose or confirm the localization direction for key countries and regions based on company strategy and business development direction
- Collaborate with various functional teams to advance local entity establishment, license applications, and maintenance, as well as channel capability building required for local business operations
- Work with business, compliance, product, technical, and operational teams to ensure the localization plan is feasible and commercially viable
Requirements:
- Over 15 years of experience in financial or related channel management, familiar with the cross-border payment industry, and with a good understanding of the regulatory environment in the Asia-Pacific region. Candidates with diverse channel resources are preferred
- Experience managing global, large teams, with an understanding of regional cultures and customs, strong communication skills in diverse environments, and proficiency in internal resource management/cooperation
- Experience and capability in engaging in dialogue and negotiations with senior customer management
- Excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both Chinese and English
