Requirements

• Degree qualified, season finance leader with prior Audit background from the Big 4, as well as finance leadership experience in the commercial sector
• Preferred industry exposure from software/ technology firms
• Technically competent with strong IFRS and/ SOX exposure
• Hands-on, analytical, resourceful, highly driven and strategic with strong business acumen
• Agile and sharp, able to work with international stakeholders and executive leadership
• Resilient, thrives in a highly unstructured and evolving environment, with strong experience in managing business transformation

Job Scope

Reporting to the senior executive leadership team, you will own a global finance portfolio across Asia, America and Europe. You will lead controllership, reporting, governance, cash management, tax and audit across different regions, with an aim to standardize processes, strengthen internal controls and compliance, and build a finance function that scales with the business. This includes overseeing the close and reporting cycle, technical accounting for software subscription models and the control framework. You will also lead and develop the team, working closely with senior stakeholders in different time zones. You will oversee consolidation for a complex group of entities, statutory reporting, driving reporting framework, working closely with the regions to ensure local and company requirements are met on time and accurately. You are a subject matter expert with strong technical accounting expertise, with strong familiarity in revenue recognition and the ability to advise complex contracts, leases, deferred revenue, share plans and any significant P&L impacts that support management decisions.
