We are looking for Asst Geotechnical Engineer with hands-on experience in ground improvement and stabilization works. The candidate will be involved in the execution and management of site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage site operations for geotechnical works, including Recharge well and relief well drilling & installation,Soil nailing & Shotcreting WorksGround / slope stabilisation works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of works
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on technical and site matters
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare and submit Daily/Weekly progress reports, Work Method Statements, RA/SWP and technical submissions, Work / Claim summaries
- Identify and resolve site issues, providing practical engineering solutions
- Assist in planning, resource allocation, and cost control for assigned projects
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 of relevant experience in geotechnical or ground engineering works
- Strong understanding of site execution and construction methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage site operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder management
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Familiar with local regulations and safety requirements (preferred)
- Basic Auocad background
- Local experience would be beneficial.
Candidates with relevant geotechnical experience will be preferred however, applicants with a background in general civil engineering works and a strong willingness to learn will also be considered.
