Core Roles and Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely operate heavy commercial vehicles over short or long distances while adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

- Able to work overtime
- Loading & Cargo Safety: Load, secure, and unload goods, ensuring weight distribution is compliant and that cargo is protected from damage during transport.
- Route Planning & Time Management: Plan efficient routes, accounting for traffic and weather conditions to ensure on-time delivery, communicating any delays to dispatch.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks of tires, lights, and brakes, performing minor maintenance and arranging for major repairs to keep the vehicle in good working condition.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption, while maintaining professional communication with clients and staff.
Key Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (e.g., Class 3/4 in Singapore).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks during loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.

- A Lorry Driver is responsible for the goods they are assigned to transport. They are responsible for keeping to a schedule and ensuring that the goods are delivered intact, without damages and as requested by the customer. A Lorry Driver's main duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance in the event of accident or breakdown while in transit
- Safely securing heavy loads and large goods for transport
Organizing the most efficient route from pickup point to drop off point
- Keeping informed of road closures, accidents and traffic diversions
Organizing multiple drop-offs and deliveries in each working day
- Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries into the lorry
Updating vehicle log books, recording deliveries and tracking mileage.
