Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D /3D;
• Carry out detailed geotechnical engineering design and calculations for earth retaining structures and slope stability;
• Prepare geotechnical design calculation reports and drawings;
• Review soil investigation reports and preparing interpretative reports;
• Advise on various types of ground monitoring instruments, and review monitoring results;
• Attend design and site meetings, when required.

Requirements:

• Graduated with Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering;
• Familiar with Plaxis 2D/3D software;
• Good communication and inter-personal skills, and project management skills;
• Familiar with Eurocode design procedures;
• Familiar with local building regulations regarding geotechnical work;
• Preferably 3 years experience in geotechnical design in a consultancy firm.
