Geologist

Job Responsibilities

• Be involved in project plan, coordination operation for soil investigation works

• Conduct field mapping, borehole logging, and geotechnical sampling

• Interpret lab and field test results

• Utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and 3-D modeling software to interpret subsurface data and prepare technical reports

• Advise during excavation and foundation preparation

• Monitor geological conditions during work

• Identify and assess geological risks

• Collaborate with project teams, site supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology/Geophysics/Civil Engineering or its equivalent discipline

• Minimum2 years of relevant experience in soil investigation and mining exploration

• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigations methods

• Skill in CAD software, GIS, and data analysis tools

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Independent and able to deliver under pressure

• Team player and strong problem-solving skills

• MUST possess Class 3 driving license
