Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and leading both the sales function and overall business operations to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. To develop strategic plans, oversee sales performance, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence while aligning business objectives with company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and expand sales in Southeast and South Asia
- Propose company's products to existing and new customers and increase order value
- Sales management, receivables management, and inventory management for each customer
- Delivery date management for orders/adjustment of delivery dates with overseas factories and negotiation of deliveries dates with customers
- Quality control of products sold to customers, coordination with overseas factories
- Price negotiation with customers and coordination with related company's divisions
- Responding to customer requirements for products to be newly ordered by customers, coordinating with related company's divisions and manufacturing plants, responding to customer audits
- Business trips to countries and regions related to the above
- Oversee, supervise and manage full business operations, including Sales operations management, Financial Management, People and leadership, and decision-making authority
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Economics, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Proficiency in Japanese language (both oral and written)
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial management and budgeting knowledge
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
