Title: General Manager, Sales (Healthcare)

About the Role
Our client is a fast growing lab services enterprise dedicated to future proofing the nation's healthcare capabilities.
They are looking to hire a highly driven General Manager of Sales, who will be responsible for building and expanding the commercial team to drive customer acquisition, and strategically positioning the organization as a trusted partner for integrated laboratory solutions.
Key Responsibilities
. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed annual revenue and profitability goals.
. Identify new market opportunities, key customers, and strategic partnerships to expand our footprint in the laboratory facilities and services sector.
. Lead the entire sales cycle for major accounts, from initial opportunity identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
. Drive the adoption of best-in-class sales processes, CRM utilization, and forecasting methodologies.
. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analysis to the executive team.
. Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies quickly and effectively.
Requirements
. More than 12 to 20 years of progressive enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in a P&L leadership or General Management role.
. Proven sales track record of meeting or exceeding double digit revenue and profitability targets, and has experience selling to the Healthcare industry( not limiting to pharmaceutical, life science, biotechnology, biopharma, clinical services, medical technology, research or academia etc).
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field an MBA or PHD would be a plus.
. Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
