identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and
lead cross-functional collaboration projects that drive
innovation and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Develop Strategic Market Opportunities
- Conduct market landscape analysis and identify high-growth segments.
- Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to stay ahead of market shifts.
- Lead Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration Projects
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to execution.
- Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and commercial objectives.
- Drive Business Development Strategy & Pipeline
- Lead business development strategy and manage opportunity pipeline.
- Conduct commercial due diligence and risk assessments.
- Present strategic proposals and updates to senior leadership.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to align opportunities with capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams with clear accountability.
- Act as the central communication point between internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee Performance Management & Reporting
- Define KPIs and success metrics for BD initiatives and partnerships.
- Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline status and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field; MBA is advantageous.
- 1015 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or project leadership.
- Background in flavours, ingredients, FMCG, manufacturing or B2B sectors preferred.
- Proven ability to convert market opportunities into commercial outcomes.
- Experience in strategic partnerships and multi-party collaboration projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong network in FMCG and ingredients sectors preferred.
- Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.
