Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to spearhead our long-term commercial growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly driven professional with strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder partnerships and high-impact business projects.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and lead cross-functional collaboration projects that drive innovation and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Develop Strategic Market Opportunities
  • Conduct market landscape analysis and identify high-growth segments.
  • Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Lead Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration Projects
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to execution.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Drive Business Development Strategy & Pipeline
  • Lead business development strategy and manage opportunity pipeline.
  • Conduct commercial due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Present strategic proposals and updates to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams to align opportunities with capabilities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams with clear accountability.
  • Act as the central communication point between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee Performance Management & Reporting
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for BD initiatives and partnerships.
  • Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status and strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field; MBA is advantageous.
  • 1015 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or project leadership.
  • Background in flavours, ingredients, FMCG, manufacturing or B2B sectors preferred.
  • Proven ability to convert market opportunities into commercial outcomes.
  • Experience in strategic partnerships and multi-party collaboration projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong network in FMCG and ingredients sectors preferred.
  • Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.
