Operations Management: Ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes and monitor performance metrics and resolve any issues related to operations.
Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage the logistics budget, optimize costs, and identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising on service quality.
Ensure compliance with financial and operational targets.
Optimization: Analyse and improve performance through process optimization, automation, and effective resource utilization. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline operations.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and lead team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure that operations comply with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Stay updated on industry trends and government regulations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to track performance and make informed decisions.
Conducting performance metrics analysis and setting performance goals.
Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or senior management role.
Experience in international logistics and/or project management is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, in-depth knowledge of logistics software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
Proficient in bilingual languages (able to speak and write English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates for work purposes).
