GENERAL MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals in production, quality, and profitability.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including production, supply chain, quality assurance, sales, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor production efficiency, yield, waste levels, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance of the plant.
• Prepare business reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for the board/management.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop growth strategies.
• Lead, coach, and motivate managers and staff across departments.
• Ensure effective workforce planning, recruitment, and training.
• Promote a safe, positive, and compliant work environment.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and drive a culture of safety.
• Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders when necessary.

• Proven track record in operational management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
