Job Description
- Ensure the organisation's policies and procedures align with legal requirements.Act as the senior legal advisor on global trading, markets, and securities regulation
- Lead regulatory engagement, filings, reviews, and supervisory interactions across jurisdictions
- Oversee legal support for fund launches, strategic investments, and corporate transactions
- Advise on cross-border structuring, entity set-up, and operational expansion
- Drive governance frameworks, board matters, and partnership arrangements
- Build and lead an integrated Legal & Compliance function globally
- Manage external counsel and service providers with a focus on quality and cost discipline
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified lawyer with over 12 years post-qualification experience
- Substantial in-house experience within financial services, trading, or asset management
- Strong expertise in securities regulation, derivatives, funds, or financial transactions
- Demonstrated track record engaging financial regulators and supervisory bodies
- Experience leading and developing cross-border legal and compliance teams
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and founders
