GCP Cloud Architect

Your Role

As a GCP Cloud Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud solutions, enabling organizations to modernize their application landscape and accelerate digital transformation. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and cloud engineers to define cloud strategies, architect secure and resilient solutions, and drive successful migration and modernization initiatives across multi-cloud environments.

In this role, you will:

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption frameworks and landing zone architectures.
• Drive complex cloud migration programs across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Define application modernization strategies utilizing microservices, APIs, containerization, and event-driven architectures.
• Architect and implement Kubernetes-based platforms using GKE, EKS, and AKS.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and automate cloud provisioning processes.
• Develop cloud governance models covering security, compliance, networking, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
  
  

Your Profile

• 15+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud consulting, or enterprise solution design.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and cloud security services.
• Proven experience in architecting and delivering enterprise cloud solutions on GCP.
• Extensive experience leading cloud migration and modernization engagements across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of multi-cloud architectures and cloud-native application development.
• Strong expertise in microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with DevSecOps and Platform Engineering practices.
• Expertise in cloud cost optimization and FinOps strategies.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms including Vertex AI, Azure AI Services, and AWS AI/ML services.
• Industry certifications such as:
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• TOGAF Certification
  
• Experience working in large-scale global transformation and modernization programs.
