GCP / Vertex AI Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Vertex AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in the implementation of AI/ML solutions.
• Optimize existing GCP services and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for stakeholders on GCP and Vertex AI capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and AI technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 14-20 years of experience in cloud architecture and solutions design, specifically with GCP.
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud services, particularly Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
