Fundraising Manager

The Fundraising Manager (FRM) is a critical role of the SAVH management team. Working closely with the Board and Executive Director, the FRM develops fundraising strategies and executes campaigns to secure grants and raise donations from public and private sources that are aligned to supporting the goals of the organisation in sustaining programmes for the visually impaired community in Singapore.

The FRM is expected to foster good relationships with donors through effective donor stewardship, and includes coordinating volunteer opportunities especially for corporate donors.

The FRM is also responsible for raising the good reputation of SAVH through effective public relations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the team responsible for fundraising, donor stewardship and public relations
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
• Foster excellent relations with donors through donor stewardship events and communications
• Align and implement public relations strategy to support annual workplan and fundraising strategies
• Manage and oversee the maintenance of the database of donors
• Prepare quarterly operations budget and reports for internal and external reporting
• Perform liaison function with NCSS and external agencies for all fund-raising and public relations related activities

To succeed in this role, you should:

• At least 4 years of work experience which should include at least 2 years of relevant experience in fundraising.
• At least 3 years experience in leading a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in Public Relations would be an advantage.
• Experience in a non-profit / charity organisation would be an advantage.
• Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or any related field would be an advantage
