Fundraising & Distribution -Australian Private Credit
About the Firm
Our client is an established alternative investment firm with a strongtrack record across hedge funds and private markets. As it continues to expandits private credit business, the firm is seeking a commercially mindedprofessional to support the growth of its Australian private credit strategy.
The fund provides lending solutions secured against quality Australianreal estate assets, offering investors exposure to the Australian privatecredit market.
This is an opportunity for an experienced capital-raising professional toleverage an established network of investors and intermediaries, develop newrelationships and contribute directly to the fund's growth.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and well-connected professional withapproximately 2-5 years of experience in fundraising, fund distribution,investor relations, institutional sales or a related field.
The successful candidate will focus on introducing the fund toprospective investors and developing business opportunities across Australiaand the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The firm is open to considering both full-time and part-time arrangements,depending on the individual's experience, network, availability and potentialcontribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investor outreach and capital-raising initiatives for the Australian private credit strategy.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with Single Family Offices, Multi-Family Offices, private wealth groups, HNW/UHNW investors and institutional investors.
- Utilise existing industry connections to generate new business opportunities and attract investment interest.
- Communicate the fund's investment approach, performance history, risk considerations and investment proposition to prospective investors.
- Guide prospective investors through the engagement process, from initial discussions to due diligence, onboarding and capital commitments.
- Establish and maintain relationships with private banks, wealth managers, financial advisers, fund platforms and other relevant distribution partners.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with investors and provide updates on the fund, investment strategy and fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with the investment and management teams on investor meetings, presentations and due diligence requirements.
- Identify emerging opportunities within the Australian and Asia-Pacific private credit and alternative investment markets.
- Attend investor meetings, industry events and networking activities as a representative of the firm.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund distribution, capital raising, institutional sales, investor relations or private markets.
- A well-established network across Family Offices, private wealth, HNW/UHNW investors, fund distributors and/or institutional investment communities.
- A proven ability to originate investment opportunities and secure investor commitments.
- Exposure to alternative investment products, ideally private credit, private debt, real estate, hedge funds, private equity or other illiquid strategies.
- An understanding of the investment lifecycle, including investor engagement, due diligence, fund structures and relevant documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and operate independently.
- Existing relationships and market redibility within Australia or the wider Asia-Pacific investment community.

Engagement Structure
Both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered.
The final structure will depend on the candidate's background, investorrelationships, availability and ability to support the fund's fundraisingobjectives.
