Job Summary
You will clean and maintain classrooms, toilets, common areas, and kitchen spaces to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for children at a play-based preschool in Serangoon/Lorong Chuan.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms to safe hygiene standards suitable for young children
- Sanitize surfaces and contents throughout the school to reduce health risks
- Clean and maintain toilets and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Manage prompt disposal of waste to maintain a clean environment
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks around the school compound to support smooth operations
- Clean kitchen areas as needed to maintain hygiene standards
- Organize and schedule cleaning tasks proactively to ensure all areas are well maintained daily
- Adapt to weekly large-scale messy play activities by managing cleanup efficiently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in preschools or schools, preferably with exposure to young children
- Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work 9-hour shifts with flexible start times (7am-4pm, 7.30am-4.30pm, or 8am-5pm)
- Comfortable working in environments with frequent mess due to play activities
