Role Description

We are looking for a confident and self-driven Business Development Intern to support Terra-Xs client engagement and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in people-facing environments, enjoy strategic discussions, and can confidently communicate sustainability solutions to diverse stakeholders.

  • Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold-calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Research and build targeted client lists to support lead generation efforts.
  • Present sustainability services confidently to prospective clients, tailoring conversations to their business needs.
  • Support the preparation of persuasive pitch decks, proposals, and presentations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business (or related field).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, client-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, comfortable with commission-based work.
  • Ability to think strategically, adapt quickly, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Passionate about sustainability and motivated to contribute to impactful consulting and business growth.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, EcoVadis) and environmental standards.
