Full Stack Engineer

Our client is a professional services firm investing in data, AI and automation to make client delivery faster and smarter, and to support the teams behind their audit and advisory work. They're looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join the team building their internal platforms — automation tools, AI-driven workflows, and analytics applications used across the business. You'll work alongside engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders day to day, with a strong focus on writing code that's solid, easy to maintain, and built to last.

What you'll be doing

Building the product

• Ship frontend work in React and backend services in Django
• Design and build APIs that power data and workflow-driven tools
• Turn business requirements into working features, with support from senior engineers along the way
• Stick to the team's coding standards, security practices and development conventions

Working with the team

• Join code reviews as a way to sharpen your craft and pick up best practices
• Work directly with developers, data scientists and non-technical stakeholders to nail down what's actually needed
• Pitch in on shared libraries and reusable components when it makes sense

Keeping things reliable

• Write and maintain tests across the frontend and backend
• Help verify that new features hold up before they ship
• Use the team's existing monitoring and logging setup to chase down issues in dev and production

Getting things live

• Push changes through the existing CI/CD pipeline
• Help confirm deployments went smoothly, and support senior engineers in digging into any production issues

About you
You're genuinely curious about technology and analytics, and you like seeing your work solve real problems. You want to be part of a small, tight team where your input actually matters — and you're someone who leans into a challenge rather than away from it, with an appetite to keep learning as you grow.

What we're looking for

• A genuine interest in building and maintaining web applications
• 3 to 6 years of experience
• Curious, detail-driven, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working to deadlines, even when things get busy
• Strong communicator, written and verbal
• Solid hands-on skills in SQL, Python and JavaScript
• Comfortable in modern frontend frameworks — React and Next.js
• Some exposure to UI/UX design tools like Figma
• Familiar with RESTful API design principles
