Our client is a charity organisation that offer community care and healthcare services. They are currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner to join their Finance team.
About the role:
Drive business partnering and financial insight for the Groups services, with a particular focus on revamping fee and grant management. This role will work closely with operations to influence strategy, improve financial performance, and support growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary FP&A partner for the Groups operational services.
- Lead the financial review and optimisation of fee and grant processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Provide actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial models for key service lines.
- Monitor revenue performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with operations to implement better cost and revenue management practices.
- Collaborate with teams to improve fee capture, grant utilisation, and reporting.
- Support development of KPIs and dashboards for management visibility.
- Assist in business case development and investment appraisals for new initiatives.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data and reporting across service lines.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance-business collaboration and processes.
- Participate ingroup-wide FP&A projects and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field professional qualification preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering.
- Experience in service-line financial analysis, revenue management, or grant/fee reporting.
- Strong business partnering, influencing, and communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement financial models and scenario analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central preferred) and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience in a transforming or growing organisation is an advantage.
- Proactive, forward-looking, and able to drive improvements across finance and operations.
