FP&A Analyst APAC

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for regional financial planning, analysis and reporting across Asia Pacific, providing commercial insights to improve business performance and support management decision-making. The role will act as a Commercial Finance partner, working closely with business and functional leaders to drive financial performance, profitability and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Review monthly actuals against forecast, plan and prior year, identifying key performance drivers and variances.
• Lead regional forecasting, budgeting and annual planning activities.
• Prepare consolidated regional financial and management reports.
• Manage regional reporting templates and support the Hyperion system.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business needs.

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

• Partner with business leaders to provide commercial and financial insights that support decision-making.
• Analyse revenue, margin, profitability, costs and overall business performance.
• Support business cases, scenario modelling and commercial initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for management.

Management Support

• Prepare financial insights and presentations for management meetings.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders on performance analysis and reporting.
• Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and decision support.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA.
• 8–10 years of relevant FP&A and/or Commercial Finance experience, preferably within an MNC environment.
• Strong Commercial Finance and Finance Business Partnering experience.
• Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue, margin, profitability and performance analysis.
• Regional/APAC or multi-country experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
