Role Description

SPEMOCEAN is seeking a dedicated and skilled Formwork Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Formwork Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing formwork solutions, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring efficiency in construction projects. Key responsibilities include conducting technical evaluations, collaborating with project teams, optimizing formwork operations to meet safety and quality standards, and troubleshooting on-site challenges. The role also involves providing technical support and advice during various project phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in formwork design, structural analysis, and engineering calculations
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials, particularly related to formwork systems
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience working on offshore oil and gas projects is highly desirable
• Willingness to be based in Singapore and work on-site
