Responsible for the daily coordination, improvement and execution of all food manufacturing operations overseeing production, planning, quality control and maintenance
You will also be accountable for cost management including equipment efficiencies, waste, direct labor and materials, generating reports on these financial targets and other kpi's
Responsible for leading and supervising workers in the production to meet product quality and customer's delivery expectations
Responsible for ensuring safety standards are maintained in the safe and secure work environment
Responsible for managing plant daily output targets, operational efficiency and productivity
Manage the processing of food products or the machinery and processes involved in food production
Ensures food safety systems (haccp, ssop and gmp's) and general workplace safety policies are followed in food processing and production. L place food orders to maintain inventory levels and interface with vendors to meet production schedules
Observes all safety rules and regulations inspects product quality according to quality guidelines
Performs minor maintenance tasks on equipment
Schedules manning based on production needs
Monitors shift productions to productivity metric
Ensure day-to-day operations functions efficiently and smoothly
