What youll do:

As a Global Sourcing Manager based in Singapore, you will be managing complex overseas sourcing operations that are critical to the success of the organisations retail expansion throughout Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building dependable relationships with suppliers worldwide, conducting detailed market research to stay ahead of trends, and executing procurement strategies that support both private label and OEM production.

You will collaborate extensively with manufacturers, retailers, and distribution partners across borders while ensuring that logistics run smoothly from origin to destination. Your ability to negotiate effectively, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain meticulous records will be essential in delivering operational excellence.

. Leverage your established overseas networks while proactively identifying and onboarding new sourcing partners to strengthen the companys supply chain.

. Conduct comprehensive market trend analysis and competitive benchmarking within key markets to inform strategic sourcing decisions.

. Develop and implement robust overseas sourcing strategies that align with organisational goals for growth and efficiency.

. Negotiate favourable supplier agreements and meticulously manage import schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.

. Coordinate closely with overseas manufacturers, retailers, and distribution partners to facilitate smooth procurement processes.

. Support private label raw material imports/exports as well as OEM project execution by collaborating with internal stakeholders.

. Oversee all aspects of logistics management, customs clearance procedures, and documentation requirements for international shipments.

. Drive joint sourcing initiatives with global retail partners to maximise cost efficiencies and product quality.

. Monitor operational performance metrics related to sourcing activities and recommend process improvements where necessary.

. Ensure compliance with relevant trade regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.

What you bring:

You will bring substantial expertise gained from at least five years working within procurement or trading environments, preferably those focused on food manufacturing or FMCG.

Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust-based relationships across cultures while your attention to detail ensures accuracy in every aspect of logistics management. Experience working directly with global retailers or convenience stores will allow you to navigate complex supply chains efficiently and will have experience supporting private label initiatives or managed OEM projects.

. At least five years experience in sourcing, procurement or trading rolesideally within food or fast-moving consumer goods sectors

. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across borders as needed for supplier visits or project coordination.

. Proven track record working with global retailers or convenience store chains on large-scale sourcing projects.

. Hands-on experience managing logistics operations including import/export documentation and customs clearance processes.

. Familiarity with private label import/export activities or OEM development projects is highly desirable.

. Regional work experience across Southeast Asia markets

. Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
