Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.(With option to extend for 1 year)
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
During School Term: (34hrs per week)
. Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 4.30pm (8hrs inclusive of 1hr lunch break. Lunch break is not paid)
. Fridays: 8.30am to 3.30pm (7hrs inclusive of 1hr lunch break. Lunch break is not paid)
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
During School Holidays: (4hrs per day)
. Mondays to Fridays: 8.30am to 12.30pm (4hrs) (No lunch break included)
. Personnel will have to report to work following the schedule below:
Mar Holiday 2 days
Jun Holiday First week - 5 days & Last week - 3 days
Sep Holiday 2 days
Nov First 2 weeks - 10 days
Dec Holiday Last week - 3 days
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Services required are set out as follows:
. Preparing of teaching resources for practical lessons and practical examinations (eg: checking the quality and quantity of ingredients / goods received, portioning of ingredients, labelling and packing ingredients).
. Maintaining of teaching resources in Food Lab 1, Food Lab 2, Prep and Store Rooms (eg: Proper housekeeping and cleaning of kitchen- Mopping of floor and kitchen equipment such as oven, microwave, refrigerator, mixer, plates and bowls and cupboard and drawers ).
. Stock-taking of teaching resources in Food Lab 1, Food Lab 2, Prep and Store Room (eg: Stock taking of ingredients and inventory in the food labs and preparation room- Ingredients in food pantry and fridges).
. Assisting the teachers when required (eg: video recording of cooking sessions and taking photographs when required for teaching and learning purpose, looking after student(s) who needs assistance during practical lessons).
. Performing the following daily routines in the kitchens during Term Time (eg: Wiping the teacher's table at the beginning and at the end of the day, placing all ingredients needed 20 minutes before the lesson starts, wipe down of food labs at the end of the day). Any other duties as and when assigned by the Nutrition and Food Science teachers and HOD Craft & Tech.
The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
1) Completed Secondary 4
2) Able to read, write and understand simple English.
3) At least 1 year of relevant experience working in food labs in school / any other F&B working experiences.
4) Equipped with Basic First Aid knowledge and skills.
