Job Summary
You will oversee daily food operations to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service. Lead and develop your team, manage resources efficiently, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and collaborate across departments to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily food production, inventory control, and supply chain activities to maintain smooth operations
- Lead, train, and evaluate food production staff to enhance team performance and skills development
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies to guarantee product safety
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Sales teams to align production with business growth objectives
- Analyze sales data and market trends to support informed decision-making and strategic planning
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience managing food industry operations, preferably in manufacturing or production
- Strong knowledge and application of food safety regulations and quality standards such as HACCP and GMP
- Proficient in production planning and inventory management software
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a food production environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Certification in food safety or quality management systems (e.g., FSC, QMS)
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret data and drive operational improvements
