Role Overview:

The Fleet Operation Manager will be responsible for the operational oversight of Neptune Robotics autonomous fleet, ensuring smooth deployment, maintenance, and optimization of hull-cleaning operations across international shipping routes. This role requires expertise in maritime operations, logistics, and leadership, with a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of Neptune Robotics autonomous hull-cleaning fleet.
  • Coordinate scheduling and deployment of robotic systems across multiple ports Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to enhance fleet performance and operational workflows.
  • Develop operational strategies to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Engage with shipping companies, port authorities, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet operations, maritime logistics, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven technologies and robotics is an advantage.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Passion for sustainability and maritime innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
