Role DescriptionA Financial Controller is a senior finance professional responsible for overseeing an organization's financial operations, reporting, and compliance. They ensure accurate accounting, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial decision-making for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
- Significant experience in accounting, finance, or financial management roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Skills & Tools- Accounting Software: SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics.
- Financial Analysis: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, financial modeling.
- Regulatory Knowledge: GAAP, IFRS, tax compliance, corporate governance.
