About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Finance Team. Working closely with the Regional Finance Manager, this role will be based in our Singapore office.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to key stakeholders.
- Perform full set of accounts including cashflow statement and tax assessments and identify areas for improvement in the group&aposs financial reporting process to deliver efficiencies and best practice.
- Ensure that the company&aposs financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS and local GAAP.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including senior management, finance and operations teams, providing financial advice and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other third-party service providers as needed, overseeing and providing support during the audit process.
- Continuously review and improve the company&aposs financial controls and policies, ensuring compliance and mitigating financial risks as appropriate.
- Drive improvements to the group&aposs financial systems and processes, including the implementation of new systems and software as needed.
Requirements:
- A recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience of working in a finance role in real estate industry, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP).
- Ability to analyse complex financial information and explain results to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong project management and prioritisation skills, with experience of managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
