Finance Manager

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager (Finance), this role oversees the financial operations of the Group's development properties entities. You will ensure that accounts are prepared in accordance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and the Group Accounting Policies and that operations comply with the Housing Developer rules and Project Account rules. On a day-to-day basis, you will supervise staff, regularly review the relevance and sufficiency of the financial policies, procedures and controls and ensure that you stay updated on the changing regulatory framework and work closely with the other departments and joint venture partners whom you provide support to. You will prepare and ensure submission of timely monthly and variance reports and carry out budgetary exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or Big 4 audit firms
• Prior experience in a supervisory position and/or real estate industry is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and related technical areas such as Treasury and Tax
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and understand financial data
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships in a team environment.
• Organised and able to work within tight deadlines with minimum supervision
