Job Overview
Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal control functions across the Group's business units. This role supports senior management with timely financial analysis, business performance reviews, cash flow planning, and strategic finance initiatives to ensure strong financial governance and operational efficiency across the portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial accounts and reports.
- Oversee monthly consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial reports.
- Review consolidated reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse the Group's monthly financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Prepare SGX announcements and ensure compliance with all SGX listing requirements.
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and the Group's Annual Report, including subsidiaries.
- Prepare and monitor the Group's annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Review quarterly GST filings and annual tax submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and SGX reporting obligations.
- Manage internal and external audits, tax compliance reviews, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties.
- Assist to oversee the Group's treasury operations, including cash flow planning, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management.
- Monitor and manage working capital components to ensure liquidity and financial sustainability.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the Finance team to build capability and drive continuous improvement.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial projects, initiatives, and assignments as required.
